It is a versatile tropical fruit known for its hard outer shell, fibrous husk, and edible inner parts: the white flesh (meat), coconut water, and oil. Coconuts grow on coconut palm trees (Cocos nucifera) and are used in a variety of culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal applications.
